Design Services
STAR Cryoelectronics has over 15 years
of extensive experience with the design of Josephson junction
and dc SQUID integrated circuits, including instrumentation
dc SQUIDs, integrated dc SQUID magnetometers and gradiometers,
miniature thin-film susceptometers, and Q-Spoiler chips for
SQUID NMR applications.
Proprietary design optimization models and
software tools are used to determine optimal SQUID parameters
based on STARCryo's Nb/Al-AlOx/Nb
Josephson junction process for 150-mm wafers. Design layouts
are created using XIC and KIC layout editors (available from
Whiteley Research).
